Played with watercolours today.  Here are a couple of them.

'Chick', watercolours, 12  y 9 ins., watercolour paper.

'In the rose garden', 12 by 8 ins.,  Fabriano cartridge paper.

The chick is a bit of whimsy...perhaps I am getting in the mood for Easter!

The rose garden reminds me of the rose garden in our local park.  Rose is my favourite floral scent.

These are done by painting abstract shapes of colour wet in wet.  When dry, I look for imagery and then use the darks to define it.

My new favourite colour is cobalt green.  Its a wonderful turquoise green!
