I decided to change the background of yesterday's acrylic painting and so here is the new version, which I have titled 'Parakeet' to give emphasis to the bird.
'Parakeet', 9 by 12 ins., acrylics on paper.
I have had parakeets in the past as pets: cockateils, Bourke's parakeets, lovebirds. So I guess that's why they turn up in my work.
