Badgers.

 Watercolours.

'Badger studies', watercolours, in sketchbook A4.

'We met at the birdbath,'  watercolours, in sketchbook, around 10 by 10 ins.

'The shepherd finding the lost Llama', watercolours, in sketchbook, around 10 by 10 ins.

Some sketchbook pages, using my watercolour paints.   I painted the badgers to get some idea of their patterning and anatomy so that they might be able to appear in one of my paintings in the future.

They are lovely looking creatures but I've only seen one IRL, and that was on a walk in a local park when I had my dog.  It was during daylight and so it may have been sick or old.  I was rather chuffed to have seen it though.

The doodles were to explore a loose abstract style of painting ....and so that was fun to do.

We've had a rather wet week... but today it has cleared up...  so that's good.

Have a nice weekend.

From June and Susie!

Oh my goodness June-this work is absolutely amazing. I can't tell you how much I love each piece. I love badgers, but we don't have them here. I wish we did. Would one eat a goose? I think it's wonderful all the different animals you have in your beautiful country.
