'Serious fox', Acrylics, A3, paper.
'Ladybird trail'. Pen and watercolour, 11 by 11 ins., paper.
As you probably noticed, I have been away from Blogger for a few months. I haven't been idle. Apart from these 2 finished pieces, I've been doing sketches of animals and ladies in my sketchbook...Nothing has been scanned in as yet. Soon, I hope.

I am seriously into foxes these days, having joined a few Facebook groups about garden foxes...these pages are a treat for watching videos of urban foxes going about their business!
As for my fox painting above, the idea came to me as an image when I awoke one morning. This first version is in a fairly primitive style but I have been sketching foxes and so I hope to do more realistic foxes soon. Indeed I have a painting on the go at the moment with a more realistic style which includes a fox and a Selfie!! But its at the early stage.

The fashion model seems a little perturbed to see ladybirds crawling up her sleeve...but as they are meant to bring good luck, she should not worry!
I wonder what you have all been up to? I will visit your sites to see.
Bye for now....
June.
