'Hare in farmer's fields', wax pastels, Hahnemuhle brown craft paper, A4
Today, I tried some craft paper to see if was a good surface for wax pastels. I used Caran d'ache neocolour 1, insoluble crayons. I love these crayons. I like them better than oil pastels, because they can be polished with a cloth and do not smear like oil pastels. I am looking forward to trying more surfaces for these crayons.
I think the craft paper would also be a fine surface for coloured pencils. It is a soft brown colour and it is very smooth in texture. It would be a good background colour for animal portraits or landscapes
