'Perfume for the chook', acrylics on paper, 12 by 9 ins.
This ended up as a red-green contrast painting.
I kept a few bantam hens for laying eggs to make cakes, many years ago. Also, I had a free-range white hen who loved to come into my house with all her little chickens and lie down on the floor... with one wing outstretched...when I lived for a few months in Rarotonga. The hens liked to eat the papayas which lay around on the grass in the garden. Very funny!
Have a great weekend.
Bye for now.
