A pampered pet

I seem to be keen on drawing cats these days.  Here is another cat drawing.  

I have kept cats in the past, although these days I have a dog.  

My cats of the past have included brown tabbies, tuxedos, and ginger tabbies.  Most of them were strays.  One ginger tabby, called Klair, from Edinburgh, was obtained as a companion to my very first kitten, Sylvester.  They were teeny kittens...but they managed to produce 2 litters before I could get them neutered.  I was a student in those days and found out the hard way that cats, like mice, breed very early. 

I kept the first kitten from the litter,  named him Timothy, and he grew up to be a beautiful long haired ginger tabby:- ginger like his mother, long-haired like his father.  That was many many years ago now.... but of course I remember them well and with much love and appreciation of their funny, wonderful, antics.  Good companions.
