'Fashion statement: hooded', watercolours, 10 by 8 ins., paper
I tried a more realistic style for today's face no 7.
This is a small watercolour painting... inspired by a photo in the wetcanvas reference library.
I liked her stripey jacket with hood. This image would look really good in other media too, I think.
The new thing I used today was a ruling pen to apply masking fluid ...it is so easy to use, much cleaner than using a brush. I'm glad I bought one at last.
Till later. Bye for now.

Love this June - Great clothes!
And what a wonderful expression she has too - real attitude!
Glad you recommend the ruling pen too - I have that on my 'wanted list'
after seeing one being used the other week on Hochanda (Brusho demo? I think)

Lovely June! She reminds me of one of the girls that walk by my home to school each day, she has that look! heehee xx
June I simply love your art. She is a stylish girl for sure.
looks good :) the only problem i have with ruling pens is that if I forget to clean them out, they are usually wrecked :/ but thats just me being lazy no fault of the tool lol
I am so glad I found your blog. love your work. I am now following so I dont miss your next work :)
This girl has attitude. Love it!
I love the look of this little painting. I'm always so impressed by watercolors, and you did a good job of getting them to do what you wanted them to.
