My sketch this morning for the #29faces challenge was the girl in the blue hat, using graphitint pencils by +derwentpencils . The girl was from a photo reference on wetcanvas.
Graphitint are water-soluble graphite pencils with muted colours for a hint of colour. I have a set of 12 colors. I used them lightly in this sketch of the girl because its the first time I've used them and because a delicate touch seemed to suit the age of the girl.
The girl with the toucan uses mixed media, but predominantly caran d'ache water soluble crayons for the figures. I really love the blending ability of these crayons: great for skin tones. This is from imagination; although I did a quick sketch of a toucan a few weeks ago from a reference photo on wetcanvas which helped with the drawing of the bird.
The last in my trio for today's post is an ATC for a summer themed swap in one of my google+ groups. This was from a doodle.

the girl drawing is cute, have not heard of graphitint pencils but sounds like interesting, like paint except it's not.

very nice work :) I love using graphitints but find they need a lot of pigment laid down so the colours really show up
