Dots and lines

Some dots and lines in art making this week.

Dots and lines, ATC, acrylics and posca pens.

Fossils, background page, A4, acrylics.

Gelli-deli collage, background page, A4.

Gelli print collage, background, A4.

 Sniffing the roses.

My news:

Dots and squiggley lines became my theme by chance this week.

I am in a UK swap on Facebook ...swapping A4 size background pages with other artists to use as journal pages, cut up for cards, make into ATC.s, or whatever.  The ones I have posted here are the most colourful pages.  I have also made some with quieter patterns and colours.

I will make a few more pages, send the quota off by the deadline, and keep the rest of the pages for my own art journalling, etc. So that's an ongoing project,

I find that making decorative background pages is quite relaxing; there is no specific imagery to consider and you can try out new materials and techniques in an intuitive, or even haphazard,  way.

Susie's news:

Susie seemed to love sniffing the flowers on the window ledge this week.

That's all from us for this week.

Have a great weekend!

Bye for now.

Love your patterned papers, especially the first, dotty one. Susie is, as always, the star of the show. Hugs, Valerie
