Drawing table set up.
Susie on the dressing table.
I did two ink drawings with pan pastel colour this week. ( I find it difficult to take photos of the pan pastel work. I think its because I don't have enough light on my drawing desk for photos. Maybe I'll try taking photos of my art outdoors next time.)
You could use powdered eye-shadows as make-shift pan pastels in your journal if you didn't want to invest in the artist's pigments but wanted to see if you'd like to use them. You could use the little make-up sponge applicators too. The results wouldn't be archival but worth a try.

Your pan pastel pieces are fabulous, wonderful style, drawing and colours. Susie doesn't need make up, she is always beautiful. Make up works good on pages, I used it to colour pages when I was in hospital and at a loose end! Hugs, Valerie
Love this gorgeous art. Very beautifully created.
Happy weekend xx
Beautiful work! Ink and pan pastels look a wonderful combination. I have a few but never really got used to using them for some reason.
Fabulous art
Wonderful! I love the style of your work. The cat is sweet as well!
These are AMAZIGN paintings - so beautiful! Susie is just perfect - no make up needed!
very nice work :) I'm assuming you put the ink down first and then the pastels?
Cute cat... I have a very curious ting caleBarry who is into everything. Your pan pastel work is lovely... a beautiful way to complement your amazing line work!
I like your pan pastels, something I'm not familiar with. I have chalk pastels in sticks and oil pastels in sticks and don't use either any more. You do lovely work.
Really love that style...it's hard to figure out what is actually happening medium wise...but works brilliantly whatever you do...xx
June,
your artwork is just amazing! Each of these is truly spectacular! I think you need to do a show!!
hugs,Jackie xx
Fabulous art work as always June - the inks and pan pastels work great together.
Could you have scanned your work maybe? Although I must admit I do sometimes have to edit a scanned piece still to get the 'real' colours.
Have a great weekend........ Gill x
OMG! June these are just stunning!!!
I am with Nicole on this...STUNNING work...you have the most amazing style. These are so fabulous!! I had to enlarge and study them because they are so unique and incredible. Wonderful work June!! Thanks for the eye shadow tip....I have so much old colourful old stuff I was planning to get rid of very soon... now I will use it for journal pages!!
Hugs Giggles
You have such a recognisable style! Amazing! I've just found you via Paint Party Friday :) x
Loving your pan pastel artwork. Amazing. I have some pan pastels that I purchased awhile back, but have yet to use them very much. I love the vibrancy of their colors though. Beautiful work...love the adorable cat too!
