Acrylic exercise- red leaves.

Colour mixing exercise from this week.

'Red leaves', acrylics, A5, paper.

I've been doing a colour mixing course and so that's kept me busy this week.  Mostly swatches of colours and colour wheels.  This is the first actual subject I've done so far.  Its not super-realistic as it was mainly a mixing exercise.

Autumnal red leaves found on a walk yesterday.

The (free) course is teaching you to observe and try to match colour on the object in a realistic way, I am used to fantasy colours and so its a challenge for me.

Course is by Gisele Grenier on https://artplace.ca/

Have a great weekend.

Bye.
