'From broken to blooming', square journal.
A journal page for this week's France Papillon challenge, which was 'broken'.
I chose a garden metaphor: pruning a rose bush for re-growth.
Some of our life experiences can leave us 'cracked' or 'broken' in various ways. Sometimes, what seems to be totally broken can later be seen to have been just a severe pruning to encourage new growth; growth in unforeseen and new directions. An unexpected, but beautiful flowering.
It brought up a horrible experience of mine, which at the time, I thought would never pass....but which I eventually got through. It was a bit of a testing week to work on this page. I am glad the pruning led to a flowering rose bush in Spring.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.
Bye for now.....
