Banana pieces for the langur monkey.

Possibly finished; possibly WIP.  Acrylics over collage.

'Banana pieces for the langur monkey,'  acrylics over collage, around 16 by 20 ins., on paper.

The update:

 Now titled: 'Peace Offering'

In this painting, I am experimenting with painting in acrylics over a collaged paper background.

The langur comes from S.E Asia, and so the boy feeding the monkey is my attempt at painting an Asian male.

I think I need some reference  photos to do him more justice.  But I think its OK for a first attempt.  I rather like the intimacy implied and the curiosity of the monkey in looking at the human.

The painting is really good, and the Asian boy, too. Love the interaction between them both. Hugs, Valerie
