'Time-keepers beside the mountain lake', acrylics, A4, cartridge paper.
This image started life as a rather dark brown and blue gelli print, but most of the print became covered up as I worked on it, and so it became an acrylic painting in its own right.
An imaginative scene with an assortment of imaginative characters: people and animals, etc., this style of work follows on from a collection of black and white drawings I did many years ago.
Here are some examples of the drawings:
'Angels', graphite on paper.
'Cat and pigeon,' pen on paper.
'Another angel,' pen on paper.
Posting mid-week for a change.
Bye for now.
