Journal pages: jungles, and more.

Recent art journal pages, mixed media.

1.  Wild with animals.

 This way to the browse.

 World's rarest animals.

2. Child with toys. (updated).

3. Floral safari.

These are pages in 3 different journals and so 3 rather different artworks.

1. Jungle imagery.

This was mainly collaged imagery of jungle animals in a smallish square journal.

2. Childhood image.

This was collage papers laid down as a background and painted over to discover imagery,  painted in an altered children's book,  so the childhood imagery seems appropriate.

3. Red, black and white page.

This started out as an exercise in colour harmony from a tutorial by Kasia Avery (everything-art.com)  on Facebook.  I added an old pen drawing and some other bits and pieces to make a journal page.

So it was a week of experiments.

In other news, the Morning Glory (Convolvulus) is taking over my garden....but I love them!

Bye for now.  Have a lovely weekend!

Wow June, you're so versatile! I love each of your journals. The Jungle theme is magical, gorgeous background too. Child in the Playground is endearing - those colours are beautiful.
Floral Safari is inspiring.
Sometimes its nice to let a plant take over - and the Morning Glory is lovely. My takeover atm are native violets and I'm loving them. Cheers and lovely to catch up 💝
