Oracle card.
This week, I was following the creative summit held online from Life-book (http://www.willowing.org).
One of the exercises was to make a small oracle card. Essentially, the process involved choosing colours and collage papers at random, i.e., with your eyes closed, pick your selections. Presumably, if lucky, you will get a message from your subconscious mind. I think my mind must have been on Christmas in the Antipodes!
Art Journal page.
I also managed to do the companion page to the 'kitty under the morning glories' page that I posted here on 12 September.
In this new one, the mother cat is looking for her kitten.... 'Have you seen my kitten?' .... I thought it made a nice story line with the two cats!
I also made a start on the front cover of this journal, by adding a first layer of torn up images from a paper napkin, portraying Indian animals and foliage.
Other news.
I started an acrylic painting...but it may take until next week to finish.
Susie, snoozing on the job!
Have a lovely weekend!
Bye for now...

The oracle card is great, it must be difficult to choose things with your eyes closed - you did well! Love the journal page, great idea with the kitties. And Susy is gorgeous as always! Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
That's an interesting process for how your oracle card came into being.
The kitten journal pages are beautiful and the collage is great - so many lovely mini pictures to see. The colours are a happy mix too.
Susi really knows how to work the system doesn't she - such a sweetie xx
the cover of the book is so pretty :)
