Watercolours.
'Hypnotic gaze'. Watercolours, around 7 by 11 ins., paper.
A barn owl in watercolours, using mainly earth hues. I enjoyed painting this owl but the paper I used fought with me (or I with it) every step of the way. It buckled under every wash and sent the paint everywhere it was not meant to go...I won't use this paper again.
The paper was one in a sample selection of many watercolour papers. So I have plenty more to try out.
