Charcoal portrait sketches.

 Charcoal.

Studies of 'Manko' from photos on raw umber studios, youtube channel.

The top one is on reasonable cartridge paper and its the 30 min three-quarter pose.

The bottom 2 are the 15 min and then the 10 min pose on cheap newsprint and show wrinkling on the paper when scanned.   I've posted them in reverse order to making them.

This lovely model had a very long neck and a long narrow nose...very beautiful.  She reminded me of a Russian ballerina.  No info in her background, so perhaps she was a ballerina!!

Have a lovely weekend!

She really looks sensitive and beautiful with emotional expression.
Thanks for sharing.
I posted a painting to day. I've studied flowers to paint them. I'm just self learned painter and not good at all. But I'm surprised that I overall paint...
Have a wonderful weekend xx
P.S. How is Susie ;)
