I painted this abstract scribbley-doodle around 14th Oct.  It was  by way of a play date for myself and so it was enjoyable to create.

I started with the scribbles, and then the 3 characters emerged, making it a kind of nod to children's literature... 'the owl and the pussy-cat' ,  a poem by Edward Lear,  and 'Alice',  from the books by Lewis Carol.  I enjoyed both of these books as a child.  I still like them.  But I did not set out to illustrate the writings.

The play date took me back to my childhood memories and that was fun!!
