Mixed media, art journal page, 7 by 10 ins.
Tried out some pale pastel tints in acrylics for the background and then did some stencilling (with shape found in kitchen) and some stamping (with hand made linocuts left over from an earlier project) and also some sticking on of the following:-
1. a drawing in pen of two monkeys; 2. a paper butterfly shape; and 3. a paper flower shape.
A bit of a mish-mash but fun to do. I think it could be interesting to do mixed media like this in large sizes, not as art journal pages, but as stand alone art pieces.
