Gelli plate and stencils arrived.

'Sun-worship', mixed media, 8.5 by 12 ins.

I did this using gelli printed papers collaged into a composition.  

As you can tell, my new Gelli plate arrived ( from www.handprint.net) ; also 3 stencils (from www.asprinkleofimaginations.com) .  

I used the potholes stencil by Donna Downey to achieve the circles, and the Prima grid stencil 569440 to make the dots.

I cut up my prints and collaged them onto a printed base to make this composition with circles.  It reminds me of sun worshipping cultures.

I like making abstract compositions as you are free of the need to make it look like something realistic; and that is relaxing.
