Use altered playing card in journal

Journal52 challenge was to alter a playing card and use it on a page spread.

I used black gesso on my card.  The idea of the garden came after a lot of gluing and sticking and painting.  Its a bit red and green but I am leaving it like this.  I was glad to at least come up with an idea for using the altered playing card.

I hope all this journal practise will lead to making some mixed media artworks for the wall...eventually.
