'Kittens in a basket', pen and wash, A4, cardstock
I did this ink sketch on card-stock to see how it compared to cartridge drawing paper. Whilst the card was great for the pen and ink layer, due to its smoothness; when it came to the washes, card was not as good as cartridge paper because the ink soaked into the card and did not flow well.
I've been using my background washes in a flat manner to give emphasis to the foreground figures. I think I'd like to try some variegated ink washes soon...
Bye from ink-land for now!
