Star bears

'Star bears', 12 by 16 ins., acrylics on watercolour paper.

Following on from my art journal page on brown bears.

I used plastic store cards to spread the background paint which was a really quick way to get good coverage and then I used stencils to add texture and interest to the background.

I painted the bears over the background.
