Re-post: Bird of paradise in wax crayon.

Wax crayons, neocolour 1.

Here it is on my worktop.



I wasn't satisfied with the scan of my art yesterday so I took some photos this morning.  

I also did a bit of work on the crayon design to make the girl and bird most prominent in the scene. 

I think its the best I can do with this one!

Thank you for visiting my blog. The technique for the string flowers is quite simple. On a background of white paint, I dragged a string filled with paint of another color. You repeat with the string adding more flowers. Google has many videos.
