'Bird of Paradise', wax crayons, 12 ins sq., on paper.
Here it is on my worktop.
I wasn't satisfied with the scan of my art yesterday so I took some photos this morning.
I also did a bit of work on the crayon design to make the girl and bird most prominent in the scene.
I think its the best I can do with this one!
Have a great weekend.

Wonderful use of crayons! The color is amazing and I love the (Colorado) columbines singing in the background! Happy PPF on Sat
can never have too much colour :)
Beautiful work June, so colourful. Happy PPF Tracey x
Thank you for visiting my blog. The technique for the string flowers is quite simple. On a background of white paint, I dragged a string filled with paint of another color. You repeat with the string adding more flowers. Google has many videos.
Your use of color is so rare--the way you use warm and cold colors...I am in awe. Your artwork fills my eyes-which is the greatest compliment I can give.
Lovely painting and great colours!!
