Bats are great! They have little mouse like faces and terrific skin wings.
3 interesting facts about bats.
1. Many of them are natural insect pest controllers as they fly about chomping on insect pests at dusk. Good for keeping down agricultural insect pests.
2. Their guano droppings in the bat cave make great fertiliser for soil.
3. The Aztecs have myths about a bat god, whom they called 'Camazotz'. The statues and imagery related to this bat god are very imaginative:- he is portrayed as having a human body with a bat face and bat wings.

The drawing is wonderful. We have a lot of bats in our yard-we have very old trees that they hide in during the day. I love to watch them flying around, as long as they keep away from me!
