tuxedo cat- coloured pencils

'Tuxedo cat- Hamish', cp, craft card, 8 ins sq approx.

This is my post for the WDE at wetcanvas: coloured pencil cat from a photo reference.  We post at the 2 hour mark, which is this stage for me.   We can then work more on the art if we wish and post the final result later.  I think I'll leave this one at this stage of development.  

I was trying out my set of Polychromos pencils.  I like them.  They can be used with much more pressure, e.g., to give really dark or rich colour.  I may try that on another work later!!

This cat reminded me of my sister's RIP cat from many years ago.
